Man dies in motorcycle accident near Riviera

A 38-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident near Riviera on Sunday.
According to a Department of Public Safety report, Warren Wesley Pierce, 38, of Santa Fe died after his 2006 Suzuki bike veered off Highway 77 about 4 p.m. Sunday.
Pierce was traveling southbound about two miles north of Riviera in Kleberg County when he left the pavement and rolled the cycle several times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved and the roads were dry.
The report said he was wearing a helmet.
